Bratton - Owner/Broker
After 25 years of working in the fields of business and banking,
Sandy opened American Home Lending, LLC. She believes in the American dream
of home and small business ownership. She derives great satisfaction in helping
people realize that dream of affordable ownership. She has a deep sense of
commitment to her family, work, and this community. She believes strongly
in giving back to the community in which she lives by contributing to and
supporting local youth groups, civic functions and activities, service-oriented
agencies and local charitable organizations. Sandy is a member of the Rotary
and Optimists Clubs and is Corporate Coordinator of the annual Rotary Duck
Race for Children for the prevention of child abuse in Douglas County. |

Christy
Melvin - Loan Processor/Loan Officer
Having worked in the mortgage/banking business since 1988, Christy
decided to join the family business in 2000 beginning her career with American
Home Lending. Born and raised in Roseburg, she and her husband have chosen
to stay in this community to be near family and friends, while raising their
three children. "I enjoy working for a well-established, reputable mortgage
company and American Home Lending more than meets these standards. We are
service-oriented and willing to go that extra mile for customer satisfaction.
Most of our customers come to us by word of mouth so that says a lot about
the work we do. It is really true that we help make your dreams come true!" |

Rita
Barrett - Loan Processor, CRMP
Rita graduated from South Umpqua High School and has lived in this
area for over 12 years. She is married and has one child. She successfully
earned her certificate as a Certified Residential Mortgage Processor and began
her career with American Home Lending in 2000. Her experience in customer
service and loan training enables her to process loan applications expediently.
Rita is totally committed to professionalism and education. "There's
a lot of thought and hard-work involved in processing loans. We know and understand
the importance of complete, accurate documentation in order to avoid the pitfalls
that can lead to delays or rejections of the loan application. We work for
you and make every effort to process efficiently. Personal service is so important
and I feel that it is my duty to provide this at all times for all of our
clients." Rita enjoys family get-togethers, reading, and scrapbooking. |

Kris Beck - Office Manager
Kris joined the American Home Lending family
in February of 2007. A native of North Dakota, her family
moved to California where she raised her two wonderful sons,
Nels and Kirk. She moved to Roseburg in 2002 to marry her
lifelong friend, Robert, and gain another great son, Josh.
She has worked as an Office Manager/Bookkeeper for 25 years.
Integrity and loyalty are her focus in her work. "If you
practice those things along with your practical skills, you can
serve the best interests of all." She and Robert enjoy
fishing, hunting and exploring the great "Misty Mountains" of
Oregon.

Katrina Alspaugh – Loan Officer
Katrina was born and raised in Roseburg, growing up on the family farm in Melrose. She and
her husband, Jim, enjoy their hectic schedule of trying to keep up with their three active girls,
Ashley, Alicia, and Blakelyn. Whether its volleyball, basketball, or softball, you can usually
find them at a sporting event on the weekends. Katrina enjoys the satisfaction of knowing
that she can play a part in making somebody’s home ownership dreams a reality. “American
Home Lending has a reputation for superior customer service and I’m excited to be a part of
that.” |

Kristen Champion – Processor Assistant
Kristen joined the American Home Lending family in early 2005 and she is also our representative for the Umpqua Valley Home Builders Association. As a Roseburg native, Kristen graduated from Roseburg High School with honors and a softball scholarship. Kristen then attended Shasta College in Redding, California where she played softball for two years and received her Associate of Arts degree. She then received a full ride scholarship to play softball at Athens State University in Athens, Alabama. While there, she helped lead her team to 4th place in the national tournament and received a major in Business Administration and minor in Computer Science. After graduation from college, she returned to Roseburg where she was employed with a local title and escrow company for several years. Kristen is married to a local contractor, Eric Champion, and they have two dogs. |

Alesha Hunt -
Administrative Assistant
Alesha was born and raised in Sutherlin, Oregon.
After leaving Douglas County to attend college where she earned
a Bachelor's of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, she
returned to the area to raise her daughter Shyla around lots of
family and friends. Alesha and her husband Kevin are both
active coaches at Roseburg High School and enjoy spending their
spare time together as a family. "The sense of teamwork
and efficiency was my inspiration to join the family at American
Home Lending." Alesha's philosophy of good customer
service is to be truthful with your customers and work to the
best of your ability on their behalf and this philosophy is very
evident at American Home Lending. "I feel very blessed to
be a part of such a special team!" |
